1. What is the PSI Driver Improvement Program?

The Driver Improvement program is a four-hour class which consists of films and lectures. The films were professionally made and produced by the American Automobile Association. The program is designed to be informative and interactive. Using such things as Vision Impairment Goggles, the students are given the opportunity to experience realistic situations. They are used to give students an idea what the vision of a driver with a blood alcohol of .15 may be. Also a syllabus and handouts are given to each student at the beginning of class. This is used as a visual aid and to assist in note taking.

2. Can it lower my insurance rates?

Yes, Some insurance companies will reduce your rate by 5 - 10%. Because the class is certified by the AAA, you should ask your insurance agent.

3. Who can attend the driver improvement program?

Anyone, of all ages are welcome. You do not have to be court ordered. You can be a volunteer or maybe someone still learning how to drive. It does not matter your driving experience nor age.
